University lectures in the Zamek Culture Centre

Open university

Following the tradition of the open university which provides free academic lectures for everyone, we have decided to organise a cycle of “University lectures in the Zamek Culture Centre”. The project is carried out in cooperation with Adam Mickiewicz University and the Zamek Culture Centre.

The first lecture was given in 2009.

The academic year 2016/2017 marks the eighth edition of the series of lectures! Each academic year the lectures revolve around a specific theme, e.g. the notion of failure, absolute, order. Lectures are given by experts in various fields, representing exact sciences, social sciences and the humanities. The objective of the “University lectures in the Zamek Culture Centre” is to discuss the phenomena which have always been a mystery for human beings through the prism of modern research findings and achievements.
